The 126th Annual Congress of the Sons of the American Revolution took place on July 8th, 2016. Shortly before that, on June 28th, the new website was launched (you can read about the announcement here). Along with the release of the website came a new online application system. It was proposed at congress that with the release of the new online system that all applications only be submitted online. Fortunately, we have some time to use both the new online system as well as the old application while we become familiar with the new website. As indicated on the launch page, regardless of whether you had a login on the old site, you will need to create a new username and password. A new account can be created here (https://members.sar.org/login#sign_up_). Once logged in, you can access the new application process by selecting 'My Applications' along the left panel. From this panel you can access any applications that you had previous submitted and create a new application. The online application manual provides detailed instruction on how to use the new process. If you have questions or need assistance with the new online application system, please reach out to your chapter registrar or directly to NSSAR. Bill Wheeler Vice President/Registrar |
