Fort Dearborn Chapter History
The Fort Dearborn Chapter, chartered on March 30, 1985, was established to expand the presence of the Illinois Society, Sons of the American Revolution (ILSSAR) within the Chicago metropolitan area. Formed at the Union League Club, the chapter emerged during a period of revitalization within ILSSAR, aiming to foster stronger local engagement and broaden statewide membership.
